Strengths are an important aspect of effective coaching. In this lesson, we have included a variety of readings related to strengths. All are optional, but we highly encourage you to read “A Dynamic Approach to Psychological Strengths Development and Intervention.” We also recommend looking at the simple framework entitled “Levels of sophistication in strengths coaching.” In our class session, we will begin with introductions. Next, we present key concepts, theories, and research related to strengths. We will demonstrate strengths coaching and discuss nuanced aspects of strengths coaching.
